About Us:

Helping Dads Be Better Fathers, Husbands, and Men!

The Good Dads Club was created by Gerald “Mr. BPOZ” Mayes, a dad who knows firsthand the ups and downs of raising a blended family. After 17 years of marriage, raising four children, and wearing the hats of DAD, ‘Stepdad’, Co-parent, and Husband, Gerald learned just how tough it can be to balance it all. From managing relationships with co-parents to making sure his kids’ needs were met while supporting his wife and building a career, Gerald realized he wasn’t alone in facing these challenges.

The Good Dads Club was born out of his desire to give dads the community and support he wished he had along his own fatherhood journey. Here, dads can find real guidance, connection, and a place to grow—both for themselves and their families.

What Our Good Dads Are Saying

As a Michellin Star Chef, Husband, and Father of 2 beautiful girls I have had to be a bit more creative in showing up as the dad and husband I want and the Goos Dads Club has been critical in supporting me in doing so.

As a father of 4 I find value in the Good Dads Club. Gerald is a guy I've known for a long time and watched him raise his kids from birth through college. Good Stuff

As an educator and a father myself I believe in the power of influence. As a father I know I can use my influence to steer my son and grandson towards greatness. They deserve for me to be that for them.
